Setting: Three months prior to the potential close of Sidewalk Cafe, Emery, Hilly and Edwin hang out at another cafe to see what brings in business. Sarah gets her first real job as the assistant to Starr Steven, owner of SC and Steven, Inc. while Alan gets an offer from his well-to do family that might hurt his starving artistic pride. Our season begins with the introduction of these characters in real time in the first of 10 productions which includes them and their conflicts as their stories unfold in and around Sidewalk Cafe.
